We had such a great experience at Shibuya Sky! ✨ The breathtaking panoramic view of Tokyo was absolutely worth it. Everything was well-organized, and the place was clean and beautiful. Definitely one of the highlights of our Tokyo trip and a must-visit when in Japan! 🇯🇵🩷 Highly recommended!

I visited this Teamlab with my two daughters. They loved this place very much. In every sections, we could experience the different lighting effect. This Teamlab is really worth to visit. I was also very happy that the tickets could be bought from Klook so easy.

This place is absolutely amazing. the pictures are great, but don't do it justice for everything you experience inside. It really is breathtakingly spectacular. Well worth the money, well organised and a really unique experience.

Reservations for the Tokyo observation deck are not optional, they are mandatory! 😀 It was incredibly convenient, and even though I don't speak the language, I was able to enter easily with just a QR code! However, it would have been even better if the weather had been nice. 🥲 Additionally, I was a bit confused when I booked for four people, but all four tickets were under one person's name. Thank you for kindly clarifying via email that the tickets are issued under the name of the primary booker. Also, for Tokyo Skytree, you must enter at your scheduled time! If you're debating the 450m option due to the price, I personally recommend seeing both the 350m and 450m decks together!

As a Harry Potter fan. this was the activity I looked forward to with greatest excitement and it did not disappoint. From the massive production sets to the movie magic behind the film, I was in awe all throughout the experience. Purchasing the wand souvenir was worth every penny.

Great experience with klook as you fo not need to register on the puroland website beforehand. Simply show your klook voucher and you are good to go. We arrived 15min prior to opening as long queues even on a Friday can start well before opening time. The queue is daunting but we managed to enter smoothly, scanned the QR code for wifi from one of the ushers inside the complex and then booked the Meet and Greet character sessions without issue. Tip, take a screencap of your character session qrcode in case your connection died like mine did! Also the toilets by Fairytaleland are quite cool!

1. If you go at night, the background (the observatory wall behind the person taking the photo) will reflect a lot in the glass. It's best to find a position and angle where there's minimal reflection. 2. It's definitely prettier at night. Because of this, you might even have to wait in line at spots with the Tokyo Tower in the background. Be aware that some people might inconsiderately take photos for a long time in the same spot. 3. The entrance and exit are different, and you have to walk all the way around. The closer you get to the exit, the less you can see Tokyo Tower, but it's quieter and there are places to lean and take photos, so the atmosphere is better. (However, if you like night views, the scenery around Tokyo Tower is still better.) 4. How to enter: Find the Mori Tower Gallery and take the elevator to the 3rd floor -> Buy tickets at the 3rd-floor ticket office or present your pre-purchased ticket QR code -> Follow the instructions and take the elevator to the 52nd floor in order (scan your QR code to enter).

The Tokyo National Museum was one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. The collections were fascinating, and it was incredible to see so many important pieces of Japanese history and culture in one place. The museum is much larger than I expected, and I would recommend setting aside at least five hours if you want to explore everything properly. There is so much to see, and every section offers something interesting and unique. One of my favorite parts was the beautiful garden area with traditional Japanese buildings. There was also a charming traditional café where we could relax with a coffee and cake while enjoying the surroundings. Being able to look inside some of the historic buildings made the experience even more special. I would highly recommend booking tickets in advance. There was a very long queue for visitors who had not pre-booked, and having tickets ready saved us a lot of time.

Super satisfied! Getting the movie collaboration '討伐棒' (subjugation stick), playing mini-games, and buying new merchandise was fantastic! 👍 Booking the Chiikawa Land experience through Klook this time was incredibly worthwhile! As soon as I entered, I received the highly anticipated movie collaboration limited edition '討伐棒,' which felt very high-quality in my hands. As a fan, I was truly touched! The photo zones on-site were also very well-designed. I finally got to take a picture with the movie characters Siren and Hachiware, and the scene was super cute, making for millions of points in photo quality! Besides taking photos, the experience of playing mini-games on-site was also great 👍, with plenty of interaction. The store also had a wide variety of new merchandise, making it easy to buy a lot 👍. Before I knew it, my shopping basket was full. The overall flow of the park was very smooth, and checking e-tickets was quick. I highly recommend it to all Chiikawa fans who want to collect the latest limited edition merchandise!

What to know before visiting Tokyo

Top experiences that define Tokyo through the year

Tokyo’s sights are driven by iconic Observation decks and Museums, followed by big-ticket Theme parks and more immersive Cultural experiences and Tours. Demand peaks in January and dips through late spring and early winter, so the city’s busiest months feel different from its quieter June period.

What different travellers tend to pick in Tokyo

Families often gravitate to Theme parks and Museums — theme parks for the spectacle and museums for indoor, educational options that suit all ages. Couples find Observation decks and Cultural experiences appealing for romantic city views and memorable local encounters. Solo travellers and small groups tend to choose Tours and Museums, where the widest variety of options and flexible ticketing make it easy to tailor a day.

What travellers from Australia usually book ahead

Most travellers from Australia book with a bit of lead time: typical bookings land around two weeks before travel, while the earliest planners lock things in roughly a month out. Booking ahead matters most in January, when demand is highest and popular slots fill faster.

How the categories compare on price and who they suit

Observation decks sit at the entry-level price point and are the easiest way into Tokyo’s skyline, ideal for first-time visitors and couples seeking a quick experience. Museums are a modest step up, offering good value for families and culture seekers. Theme parks are the priciest mid-point for headline entertainment, while Cultural experiences span budget to premium for travellers after hands-on or exclusive encounters. Tours show the widest spread of prices and options, making them the most flexible choice for solo travellers and small groups looking to match budget and interest.
